Censored?

Had a call from a friend (nice to know people are reading this!) to ask why my last post had been edited. Specifically, why the poem at the end of the post had been removed.

The poem in question (which was actually up for less than a day) I removed myself. It was not the subject of censorship — or a removal request — by anyone else.  It did use rather forthright language at one point; but no other word would have been appropriate.

The reason I removed it was because I felt that in that particular context it could have been misunderstood, and mistaken assumptions made about certain references. That’s all.
